Gear placed
Beat 3 — Equipment siting
Where does the gear go?
Dale approved the roof. Now he wants to know where five pieces of equipment land — and he has opinions.
Tap a tile in the tray, then tap the house to place it. Drag placed gear to nudge it.
Three candidate spots: exterior wall by the meter, garage wall, and the basement utility room (use “Step inside”).
The dashed ring is the utility zone. Shutoff gear belongs near the meter where the fire department can reach it.
The inverter carries a working-clearance envelope — NEC 110.26 wants room to stand and work in front of it. Keep it off windows, doors and other gear.
Tiles with a small i badge carry a note — the utility-by-utility stuff worth knowing. Hover or tap it.
Nothing gets hard-rejected. You’ll just hear about it — from a tooltip, or later from Dale.
Use Check my work before you submit. That’s the whole job, honestly.
